Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. This page explains which ones rawanabar.com uses, what they do, and how you can control them.
1. Strictly necessary cookies
These make the site work and cannot be switched off. Under Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code they do not require your consent.
- Session and security cookies — set by WordPress, the software this site runs on, to keep a page request consistent and to protect forms against abuse. Session length, or up to 12 months.
- Reservation form cookies — used while you complete a booking, so the form remembers your selection between steps and can show you the outcome. Session length.
- Caching cookies — set by our hosting platform to serve pages faster. Session length.
2. Analytics and profiling cookies
This website does not currently use analytics, advertising or profiling cookies, and does not build a profile of you or follow you across other sites. If we add any in future we will ask for your consent through a cookie banner before they are set, and update this page first.
3. Third-party content
- Instagram and Facebook — our social buttons are ordinary links. Nothing is loaded from Meta while you are on this site, and no cookie is set until you choose to follow the link. Once you are on their platform, their own privacy and cookie policies apply.
- Google Maps — the “Get directions” link opens Google Maps in a new tab. There is no embedded map on this site, so Google sets nothing here.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
You can see, block or delete cookies from your browser’s settings — usually under Privacy or Site settings in Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop the reservation form from working properly.
5. More information
How we handle personal data more generally is set out in our Privacy Policy. For questions about either document, write to rawanabar.restaurant@gmail.com.
